Welcome to the Fairbury American Legion Speedway’s reserved seating and camping website, developed by Kelmscott Communications. We cannot put large special events on if not for the support of traveling fans, we need you at our events to make them successful. Therefore, instead of requiring you to purchase advance tickets, we only require a reservation fee, that way you know you will have a place to sit when you arrive. We have tried to make it as easy and economical for our fans to attend without breaking the bank. This site will enable the easy access and purchase of these items along with the ability to hold them for yearly renewal!
FALS, as we are affectionately called by our rabid fan base, is a very unique racing facility. The black dirt track is owned by the Fairbury American Legion, while it sits on the Fairbury Fairgrounds. This means a group of volunteers from the legion, fairboard and a race committee work in unison to oversee the running of this facility for the past seventy years. You will notice when you attend, that the tracks sits in a residential neighborhood and is surrounded by homes (make sure you wave at our neighbors), Indian Creek Country Club, and schools. All of this, plus the fact that downtown Fairbury is a just a few blocks away make FALS one of a kind.
Don’t forget that besides these large events our weekly shows will still have you on the edge of your seats with wild, dust free four wide racing. Everybody from our gate workers, track prep crew, officials, tow truck operators, tower workers, infield workers and sponsors offer you an open invitation to experience FALS for yourself.
As nationally known broadcaster and writer Dave Argabright stated “they tell you one more time that this track—their track—is the best of the best. They could be right. It is wonderful.”
Enjoy your time at “America’s Dirt Track”…
